How a numerology reading works
Your name and birth date are each reduced to a number. Letters convert to digits and sum down; your birth date's digits sum down the same way — a pure calculation, the same every time you enter the same name and date.
Most totals reduce all the way to a single digit, except 11, 22, and 33 — the master numbers stay unreduced, treated as heightened forms of 2, 4, and 6.
Three core numbers come out of this: your Life Path (from your birth date), your Expression (from your name), and your Birthday number (from the day you were born).

What do the numbers mean?
Pythagorean numerology reduces your birth date and the letters of your name to single digits (and the master numbers 11, 22, 33). Your Life Path — from your birth date — points to your overall direction; your Expression — from your name — to your innate talents.
Your Birthday number is a specific gift you carry. Together these core numbers are a compact sketch of temperament and trajectory. This calculator finds your numbers; the app reads what they say.
