Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Steorra (“the app”) gives you a reflective reading by combining several traditional methods. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and how it is handled. It applies to the Steorra iOS app and the related website.
Information you provide
To produce a reading, you enter a question and a few details — your name, date of birth, an optional birth time, and a birthplace (a city). You may also send follow-up chat messages about your reading. The app sends this information to our servers so it can be turned into a reading and follow-up responses.
How it is used
Your inputs are used solely to generate your reading and to answer your follow-up questions about it. To create the written interpretation, the relevant details are processed by our hosting provider and by a third-party AI model provider. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it for marketing.
Storage and retention
If you are not signed in, your past readings are stored only on your device, and you can delete them at any time from within the app. If you create an account, your readings and saved birth details are also stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices — see “Accounts & synced data” below for how that data is handled and deleted. Third-party processors (our hosting provider and the AI model provider) may retain transmitted content briefly to provide and secure their services, in accordance with their own policies.
No login required
The app does not require an account or login to produce a reading, and it contains no advertising. Creating an account is optional and is used only to sync your data across devices, as described in “Accounts & synced data” below.
Usage analytics
To understand how the app is used and improve it, we record anonymous, aggregate usage events — for example, which reading methods are chosen, a coarse age range, gender category, the general topic of a question, and how often the follow-up chat is used. These events are tied only to a random, first-party identifier stored on your device; they are not linked to your name, and we never store the text of your questions — only a general topic label derived from it. We do not use this data for advertising and do not track you across other apps or websites. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do-Not-Track signal, we do not record these events.
On the website, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used through aggregate heatmaps and anonymized session replays. Clarity masks sensitive content by default, and we do not use it for advertising. It is not loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do-Not-Track signal.
Accounts & synced data
If you create an account, your reading history (questions and results) and the birth details you save are stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices. This data is private to your account, is never shared or used for advertising, and is permanently deleted when you delete your account (Me → Delete account). Without an account, your readings and birth details are not stored on our servers — they stay on your device. The only exception is the anonymous usage events described under “Usage analytics” above, which are never linked to your identity.
Children
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
Your choices
You control the information you enter. You can delete your on-device reading history at any time, and you can stop using the app whenever you wish. To request deletion of any information associated with you, contact us below.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
